San Francisco Transit Shelters

“Transit shelters that use photovoltaics, LEDS, and WiFi are going to be standard in the future and I’m proud that San Francisco is once again acting like the pace car for other cities by trying and implementing these technologies.”

-San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom

3form collaborates with Lundberg Design and rises to the challenge, producing a custom colored and textured 40% recycled content polycarbonate, combined with photovoltaic cells. This original solution utilizes a manufacturing process that facilitates city-wide implementation of 1,000 new shelters over the course of five years.
